Yes that's the one
Not sure if it a good parts machine or a fixer upper
looking at a french machine also on ebay,,,,,it's a little rough ,missing hinges, and top part...it's at just under 400 DOLLARS compared to the other french one also on ebay right now for 3400 dollars.....

Scottie's reference is this auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Slot-Ma ... SwbYZXWKMV
A friend of the seller contacted me for information on the machine several months ago. He thought I might be interested. After looking at the sad shape of the game, I said "No thanks." If someone had a Johnson roulette that needed parts, this would be the ticket. If one was going for a complete restoration, that someone should have the talents of Gameswat. It looks as though the former owner liked to take the boxer into the shower with him.

Re: Allwin in a movie
It would be a crime to break that for parts The key would be the asking price. I'd love it but it's not worth top money of course.
Not from the Woody Alan movie of course - from a TV series of the same name that I don't think we got in the UK.a movie prop in the movie MANHATTAN
Re: Allwin in a movie
Thanks for the input.
I think the French machine is too complete and rare to use as a parts machine... Yes it does need a lot of work, not sure how the rust got there.
As for the movie prop... I was thinking it was from the movie that Woodie was in. I've never heard of the T.V. show by that name,

Great addition - a genuine movie prop that's cool as. As for the French game, part it out man - that things mint compared to some of the rusted out junk we have to save here in Australia.

I think Paul might be right. TV series info at Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhattan_(TV_series). Also, google info shows similarities between the certificate images and the website details. Personally, I think the machine is a piece of history in it's own right and I hope it sees a good restoration.Scottie wrote:I've never heard of the T.V. show by that name.

The actual advert for the machine says the official series sale from the series Manhattan: MANHATTAN SCREEN USED VINTAGE PENNY ARCADE SLOT MACHINE
Re: Allwin in a movie
I really picked it up not because in was on the big screen or a TV show, it was close to home and the price was okay. ...It's missing a bunch of parts... but, having said that, it is kind of cool....
