The State of the Pennymachines Nation 2017

Post by coppinpr »

For the last 7 years I've posted details of the forum's progress over the previous year.

In just over a week's time the forum will be 15 years old.

In the last year we have had 140 new members (up from last year's total) from a grand total of 1530.
The highest month for new members was August (18) and the lowest was, as usual, July (7).

There were 391 new topics from a total of 4268. This was the largest number of new topics in a single year for some time.

There were 4102 posts from a total of 39724 again up from last year.

The most viewed topic overall is still "Elephant House" with a staggering 68,000 views.
The most viewed topic over the year was "Vintage slot machine website changes hands", with a huge 11,347 views.

Mr P. made some major improvements to the site which shows he's as keen as ever.
BP past the 5,000 post mark but the number of truly funny ones were un measurable at >1%.

As always, thanks to Mr.P. without whom we would not have this great forum and BP who props him up when he bends under the weight !WORSHIPFULL!
Long may it continue. !THANKS!

Great site guys. !!THUMBSX2!!
I've been a fruity owner for years but never knew this site existed, or at least until I was googling for advice which was given to me by members on here!! thx
I'm normally a frequent homebrewing site poster so quite used to people asking advice and helping them out as do others.

Best to sort machines (EM pin & penny bandits) whilst sober then play whilst drinking your wares...

I converted my shed into a 15 gallon AG brewery around 15 years ago, plus an area to dispense via hand pull or tap using 70/30 mixed gas!
Very popular hobby with friends, family & neighbours..lol !THUMBS!

Maybe it is just me, but I feel some internia has been lost on the site, only maintained by the occasional new member seeking help.

We need more people who spend their life watching, writing up something interesting instead of hoping others will... Come on - you know who you are and I have spoken to enough of you..... dirtdog

Well this post is number 40,000, apparently !OMFG!

Question though, given I never see more than 15 to 20 people logged in including guests and search engines, are you sure you're not being hacked !PUZZLED!

I think BP was previewing his "Lady Godiva" costume he uses to promote the Coventry auction at that time. I couldn't see anything in it myself. :!?!:
