Latest addition to the workshop at an amazing price

Post by coppinpr »

Always wanted one of these. Never a tool that's going to get masses of use but one I need on a semi regular basis. Managed to put myself off one in the past by saying I couldn't justify the price and that I don't have room, but when I saw this in Lidl for £60 I couldnt resist. Heavily built with a particularly good quality chuck....comes with drill plate vice and laser cross hairs to position the job.
I still don't have room for it really. Thought it might have to stay in the conservatory where I assembled it, but the wife objected :!?!: (to be honest, I managed to find a corner for it in the workshop without moving anything...much.)

I bought something similar from ALDI, around 12 years ago & it's still going strong. Not the most accurate, but for £35, I won't complain.
