I was recommended this courier by by a well known member of this forum, I have now used this courier several times now and can fully recommend him.
Allan works for himself, his delivery rates are very good, and delivers all over the UK. He packages each machine himself on collection. He contacts you the day before the machine is to be collected, with a time, so your not waiting in all day, he also informs your potential buyers with a delivery date and time.
As Allan works for himself and operates all over the UK, you might have to wait for your machine to be collected, the worse this could be is max 3 weeks.
Allan even works weekends!

Re: Courier recommendation
Have just had Allan pick up a machine from south London and delivered to me in Liverpool. He is reliable and I would recommended him without doubt.
Re: Courier recommendation
I’ve had Allan deliver another one of my allwins last week from Southport to Kent, very reliable and trustworthy and price competitive. He even took the machine upstairs for the guy.

Doh, that's bad news!
I'm currently awaiting him to pick up a machine I've been working on and return it to its owner.

Re: Amicus Couriers
I have been in touch with Allan James, and he has given me permission to notify us that due to serious illness in his immediate family he is honouring all existing bookings, continuing to quote on jobs that easily fit his schedule until the end of April but from May will have to pause on new business for a couple of months (reviewable). This is so he can commit to his family 100%. I am sure we all wish him well during this very difficult time.

Re: Amicus Couriers
Given Allan has taken time away just now does anyone have another courier they use regularly and would recommend?

I’ve used Martin from retro logistics quite a few times. He’s the goto guy in the pinball community. 07748 521550
