Lovely oil painting by a talented local artist of my childhood arcade Barrys Bangor with me and my mother walking past, sitting above one of Barrys machines.

The painting is splendid. What a shame that quaint and charming old palace of entertainment is gone.

It is indeed a real shame - such an unusual building too. It was in the process of being classed as a listed building but was destroyed in a mysterious fire late at night before it was listed.
