Hello

I want to buy a mechanical slot machine.
The bad news, are that I live in Spain. And the sellers many times don´t answer my mails.......
I only know 2 online sites :

http://www.1armedbandit.co.uk/
http://www.tpg-uk.com/

But the machines are a bit expensive.

Anyone knows more online stores to buy?
Im prefer the aristocrat o jubilee models.

Thanks and sorry for my gramatical faults.

Hello from the UK,

Well, there are plenty of rogue machines out there so you need to choose carefully. I would suggest getting a cheap flight and make it to one of Jerry's auctions. You could buy a nice machine there and arrange a courier to ship it back. That way, you get to see what you are buying and meet some nice people as well.

All the best.....

Thank you for your reply.
I can´t go to u.k. , it´s too expensive the travel for one machine.
3 weeks ago, I was in London with my girlfriend, and both we had a great time. I´m sure that will go again in the future.

Henry from 1armbandit, has answered me.
Someone has buyed in this store? He often makes bids in ebay. And his machines looks like good.
Regards.

The Jubilee and Aristocrats machines ive seen on www.1armedbandit.co.uk look nice, but there are things you need to be aware of. If you are buying a jubilee or aristocrat note the chrome work! There isnt any chrome, all been painted over or stove enamelled, belly images are repros which is understandable after all this time. If somebody bought one for me at christmas id be happy with it for what it is, as to orginallity its not quite right nor are the reel symbol strips. If you did buy one from www.1armedbandit.co.uk at least you could have it converted to Euro currency, e.g. cents. He is very friendly, give him a phone call !!!

Well, the cheapest will be the Jubilee or Aristocrat and very easy to work on; very reliable too. I've picked one of these up for £75.00 on ebay. You see these sell between £130 to £250.
The Sega's many different varieties, I own two: Sega Windsor, £110 paid - lovely little machine with small footprint. A Sega Mad Money type machine, paid £70 for... I do not recommend the Sega Continental - very very heavy machine and a bit of a dog to work on and restore. Lots of metal, too much for my liking. I had one, renovated it and moved it on for a tidy profit.

Mills, very desirable over here; I would like one but have been outbid every time; I'm not prepared to pay £700+ for a High Top. If one comes along cheap then I will be lucky.

Jennings, once again, expensive.

Hi again

I have just selled my slot machine.
Now I,m really lost. I just discovered that I like a lot, the older machines that the jubilee and aristocrats...
For example, the rol-a-top, the mills horsehead bonus, or any other of the 40´s or 50´s
I suppossed that are more expensive......
I´m going to mail to Henry, maybe he has some interesting.
Regards.

Yep those machines, expect to pay at least 4 times as much for on ebay over the jubilee and aristocrat.

Around 1000 pounds? It´s more that I want to pay.....
I'm making a list so send to Henry, He will send me the prices.
I want to buy a machine un-restored, but with the mechanism repaired and working.
Regards.

At risk of being accused of touting for trade - before spending hundreds of pounds, I suggest it would be wise to invest £2 and join the Arena if you want an unbiased idea of classic bandit values based on what they made in previous sales. There were quite a few bandits at the Coventry sale this year - results up shortly.
