R&W Ice Hockey - Instructions needed
R&W Ice Hockey - Instructions needed
I have just completed restoration of a Ruffler & Walker ice hockey player.
Does anyone know if they originally came with instructions inside the table (as you get with pinball machines). If so, can anyone provide me with an image of the original instructions, so I can reproduce them to make the machine complete.

Beautiful job, Howeinuk!
Someone out there must have the instruction sheet you need.

Two recent machines available to the market, both did not have any labels on top, other than a crudde price tag and the original ruffler and walker badge inside. I know Jerry has one in his arcade in Brighton, perhaps he may have something on the top as you would have though there would be basic instructions

I'm not so sure the R&W tables ever had instructions. I've encountered quite a few over the years, but I don't think I've ever seen one with instructions.
Actually, the table I have at Brighton is not R&W, it's a 1930s Rock-Ola (they didn't have instuctions either). I have another table awaiting restoration which pre dates R&W - not sure of the manufacturer, could also be Rock-Ola, and that doesn't appear to ever have had instructions. However, I am currently working on a 1960s Cromptons Ice Hockey, which I think does have instructions. Next time I'm in Brighton, I'll check.

The Chicago Coin Company version was plastered with labels.
