Hand Painted Allwins

Post by john t peterson »

Cheeky's posting ("HAVE A GO" allwins - Who made it?) about the most colorful allwins got me thinking. How about a showing of the backflashes which were painted by naive artists as aftermarket alterations to the traditional allwins? In an attempt to refresh the appearance of aging machines, these itinerant artisans created charming works of art that only increased the appeal and value of the machines to which they laid their brushes. As proof, I am offering up a Whales "Aeo Choc" which was transformed into "Titanic Choc." What have you got? Dazzle us with your aspiring Van Gough's.
