Just seen this Bryan's clock on ebay, the seller says the factory re-cased it in 1962 is this true?

It's the same one that's for sale at only (!!) £800 on Melvyn Wright's website. I think the story may be true but I have my doubts about whether it makes the machine worth that price, to be honest. !OMFG!

It looks like Formica to me, not metal, in which case it could well be 1960`s as the seller claims. I`m sure Bryans would have done whatever the customer wanted, and the operator may have thought it would make it look more modern against the newer bandits in formica like the "Duchesses". If it is genuine then it is rare, but is it worth £850? Who knows. Any machine is only worth what someone is prepared to pay. Slot machine prices can go down as well as up!
