Mini Falls, Penny Falls

Post by toibs »

Anyone have any pics, info etc on these, or can give me a rough idea of their value?

All I know is that it's a single player 2p machine.

Cheers,
Paul.

Re: Tuppeny pusher made by Jezzards??

By searching Google it keeps popping up but the links lead nowhere. So by looking at the Cache pages we find one once appeared on eBay.
Also it seemed to go or was being offered for £399.00. Also...........

COINMATICS LIMITED (Registered No 01002018)

Business Summary Link to this company
Registered Office
223 REGENT ST., LONDON, W1R 7DB, UNITED KINGDOM
Incorporation Date 09-02-1971
Type Private Limited with share capital
Status Dissolved

If you check the museum on this site you'll find a version of his Socca machine which was a counter top.
He made various machines of the Tippa coin or tip something over and they keep being offered.

Jezzard made three countertop pushers that I know of, all in identical cabinets: Rota-Soccer, Mini Cascade and Mini Cakewalk (pictured in the Arena). They were made just before and after decimalisation, so you can find them on 1D or newer coinage (easy to convert). The ebay one seems to have been called Penny Falls, which I think may be the same, in all but name, as Mini Cascade (also made as Mini Falls.)

From what I understand, this is a single player, poss full size, apparently it's "fluorescent colours - really ugly"!!!

Don't suppose that's consistant with any of the above is it? :D

Sounds about right. These games are all Formica, fluorescent lighting and brash graphics. As BP puts it, "beauty is in the eye of the bee holder".
Jezzard must have made some floor-standing versions, and the absence of "mini" in the name would be a clue I suppose.

Hi there,
Anyone heard of or seen one? Do you have a picture of one please?

It's a Cromptons Mini Falls pusher machine. The shelves are mounted sidways inside the cabinet?

Please help.

Thanks,

If you are registered in the Arena, there is a very useful guide with pictures of mini table top pushers, which should cover the machine you refer to:

Hi there, it's not a table top pusher? It's a stand alone 1 player affair?

Also not sure what Arena is, so prob means I'm not signed up...

Thanks for your reply. Hoping someone can help.

Would recommend you register, as not only is there information of auction prices obtained, there are many articles and you have access to the Resources section on the forum, believe it is only £2 per year.

This link to the Arena also covers the history of the pusher and Cromptons:

Hi riche100,
I've merged your query with an earlier one about a small floor-standing Dennis Jezzard tuppeny pusher called Penny Falls. The only Mini Falls I'm aware of is the counter-top Jezzard machine shown in the Arena post that TF linked to. (BTW, the Forum Resources category can be accessed free by all registered members).
