It looks like part of the mech. comes from an Oliver Whales Treble Chance or similar Allwin where three payouts are made depending on which of the winning cups the ball lands in. See photos please.

Spares are / were available from Allwinspares.co.uk

Hope this helps. John

Bob, if I were a gambling man I'd bet my house that this is a Shefras machine (from the same stable as Extrawin, Beat the Clock, Speedway etc.). As I'm not, I'll just offer it as a suggestion.
(I'd also bet that it's not the original backflash).

I saw this a few weeks ago when it was covered in matt black paint. At first I suspected it was a Nostalgic Machines allwin, until I took a closer look. Like, JC, when I see a well-made '50s allwin of unidentifiable origin, I think first of Shefras, in this case Morris, not Philip. The solid one-piece cast aluminium gallery and very plain gallery shield is typical Morris Shefras, although the cabinet top, as you say, less so. I'm guessing you turn the knob clockwise for payout (Oliver Whales is anti-clockwise).

The Extrawin I remember had a rotor in the middle. Look at this:
