Edwin Hall "Muffin the Mule" Children's Ride
Hiya
A friend has an Edwin Hall "Muffin the Mule" kids ride (same as the one in the third picture, below).
It's in quite good condition and is working. He also has a spare "Muffin" horse to go with it.
Yesterday, he mentioned selling it and (knowing I'm into coin-op stuff) asked how much I thought it might be worth - I had to confess that I had no idea.
Anyone care to hazard a ball-park figure or two?
Cheers!

Re: Edwin Hall "Muffin the Mule" Children's Ride
A totally subjective question deserving a length of string type answer I fear.
What's is its condition and does it work completely?
Why are you interested in buying it?
a) To embellish your collection
b) To sell on and make a profit
Last year I saw an Edwin Hall Dalek ride go for £1600, however that is exceptional in so much as it appeals to a much wider market than any other kiddie ride.
I'd be surprised if it would appeal to many as a coin operated machine, we've never seen one at any Coventry auctions.
I've bought two over the years and that was in order to give away as birthday presents to very young children in the family.
It really comes down to how much it's worth to you.

Made 170 but don't think it was a Edwin hall
The base looks different
I had a few Edwin hall rides on eBay over 1 yr ago
They made crap money
Very well made,but think the
Big hitter on these is the dalek ride

I have no interest in it (and no space!)
NB. I used to have an EH Dalek Ride years ago, but swapped it for a load of video games (D'oh!)

Re: Edwin Hall "Muffin the Mule" Children's Ride
[EDIT] "No space" meaning spurious or random machines which don't particuarly interest me, plus the fact that within the last year or so I've sold off around 90% of my coin-op collection (primarily video games) - I can now only focus on a few "must haves"...
However (one way or another), there will always be space for one of those slot car games - it's finding one that's the problem!
