It peaked my interest doing the Texaco machine above so I did another one today with a Budweiser logo, not a Beaver this one though.

Rather disappointed to see this poor machine vending toothbrush balls in the gents' of a Frankie & Benny's in Basingstoke...

Strange but true.... the gents at Franky & Bennys in Basingstoke has audio tapes of lessons in how to speak Italian playing all the time !! so beware of meeting any men in Basingstoke who speak perfect Italian :o

Que bien, yo tambien, pero hace muchos anos que no lo hablo.
Trabajaba y vivia en Espana por mas de tres anos a partir de mil nieve cientos setenta y cuatro, estaba ensenado Ingles.
Nunca he estado en Basingstoke ni lo quiero. !PUZZLED!

Lol I learned up to an intermediate level years ago, so had to put that into Google Translate. Still a bit confused :D Especially the snow reference! !PUZZLED!

Ah but BP let's not forget.. the UK's largest collection of vintage slot machines is in Basingstoke... so there! !TEASE!

I went to visit my mum and sister, who live a couple of miles from Basingstoke, and yes, we did visit the 'Milestones' museum. Some lovely old machines in the penny arcade. !!THUMBSX2!!

bought this American made gum ball dispenser running on 25c very cheap and close enough to collect on ebay and it turned out the best vendor restore Ive done so far. Polly Gas got bought out by Wiltshire Oils in 1934 but the signs stayed in use till the 50's
