So are the pictures that I posted on here good enough, or do you need better pictures pennymachines?
Let me know.
It's always nice to have the originals, but I think as Chris has the Double Falls, he should have the paperwork to go with it.
A good scan is next best, but it really needs to be a decent resolution image from a scanner, rather than a digital photo.
Scottie wrote:I did throw out a LOT of things. I'm sure someone might have wanted, but mailing out a lot of paper can be costly. I did have a very old color flyer from Mills, but it had very bad water damage on it. Shame, because it was perfect when I first got it.
That is a shame because paperwork for these old machines is hard to find. If you unearth some more, I suggest you advertise it in the Market with postage to UK and US + sale price. It costs you nothing and you may be surprised how quickly it gets snapped up. Meantime, I've sent you £5 by PayPal.

Hi pennymachines,
I got the payment for the mailing THANK YOU
Two questions:
Do you just want the 3 double falls paper work or would you like the pachinko and Bally flyer and anything else I can dig up too ?

I will need a complete address

Okay... it's ready to go.
I will go out tomorrow morning and mail it to you.
I found some gold coins - I can't remember what machine they came out of, but I must have sold the machine and I can't spend them here so I put them (almost a handful) in with everything else. I'm not sure what gold is worth these days but I'm sure they're worth something :HaHa:

Crompton double falls

Post by pennymad »

Topic merged - Site Admin.

Hi I have a Cromptons Double Falls which I have spent hundreds of hours fully restoring and could be put back into an arcade tomorrow and run happily all day without the worry of old wiring catching fire etc, it runs perfect. I thought I'd never sell but we're moving soon so am testing the water to see if someone would be interested in buying her and giving her a good home, it's located in the West Midlands and am open to offers please.

Hi pennymad, have you considered taking it to the Coventry auction - would stand a very good chance of selling with so many punters in the room at the same time viewing the machine 'in the flesh'.
Would need to let JC know quickly, the auction is on 27th November.

I've been offered a Double Falls, and it's only 30 miles away.
The top-box IS with it.
Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm a bit concerned about the sheer size; anyone know the outside dimensions?
Ta in advance!

Specifications are on the flyer in resources Crompton's Double Falls paperwork & schematic

I am not sure if there were different sizes and the style changed from early versions...

These are great machines BUT are very very heavy and are not many left on old penny nearly all are 2p.
Not a big market due to weight and size.

Sounds like a description of me on a dating site, right down to the money not only being wrong but small denomination as well.
