Bought 2 allwins: 25 Cup BMCO and Win-a-Nestlé's

Post by patrikd »

First wall mounted penny machines arrived - I bought a Sega Mini and the man also had these two machines so I bought them too :-), one 25 cup BMCO I think and a Win a Nestles, both almost complete but have been in storage in for many years, so they are untouched. The top banner is missing on the Nestle machine. If some of you have a Nestle machine I would be happy for a high res. photo of the top banner.

I have seen different solutions on the net for the 25 cup machine, some with hinges on them and some without hinges. Have any of you information about that?

Best Regards

Patrik

Without hinges the door lifts out from the top, and is held in place because the door sits behind a lip at the bottom and is locked at the top.

One of those Nestle machines sold in last weeks Reeman's auction. Maybe the owner who is on this site will be able to take a hi res pic for you.

Is the handle missing on it or stored somewhere?

Thanks a lot for the scan of the topsign, maybe I can use that to make a new one.
I was thinking that the right handle was missing from the machine, but when I drilled the lock, it was in the machine with the other parts:-), so now it's working, but can anyone tell me how the Nestlé's chocolate bars looked for a machine like this?

Go to "collecting candy .com" in the section "50 years of Nestlé's bars". You will be able to copy and download complete wrappers of almost all Nestlé's wrappers. You're really looking for one the same colour as the topflash.

It's to stop the ball after you lose, if it wasnt there the ball would rock back and forth for ages, it's meant to be there

It shouldn't but looks like the nail has been moved for some reason to allow it to do so?

where the nails sitts now the ball is stopped, but there is also an old nailhole, so when the nail is in that hole the ball would not stop :-)

It teaches you that you should flick the ball slow enough to enter the cup field without overshooting into the capture lane.

Thanks for the answer, now a question for the nestle, am I correct if I think that I'm missing some kind of plate /sledge that should deliver the Nestle candy?

Thanks for the photo, I was missing the plate that pushes out the candy :-). I made my own, and now the machine is back to life, polished chrome parts and new lacquer, new glass, I did an own sign for Nestles in top (probably gonna find a good Scan of the original in the future). The only missing thing now is a key for the cash-box door, (hard to find blank key for the lock here in Sweden), no Nestles bar in the machine, but found Euro bars:-)
