Tips on Cleaning paycards without rubbing detail off!!!

Post by markymark »

Hi
Ive got a sega/mills hi top, which has the metal plate bolted on the front showing the pay outs. I wondered if anyone has any tips on cleaning these without rubbing off the symbols etc..
Mine is ok, but the black background is very dull. if i use a cutting compound, will it erase the symbols?
Also, just out of curiosity, where would you go to get replacement pay cards, does anyone make them?

Thanks

Very difficult to do this without removing the colour from the payout symbols. Either satisfy yourself with nothing more than a wipe with a damp cloth or prepare for a full restoration.

thanks for the replies... I'll give the tips a go...
I did bid on the mills plates, but decided against as they looked silver rather than black.
