Does anyone know any info on this please?
Was it a UK revamp or did Mills actually make them? I can't find anything about them and was hoping to be able to source a new award card for one.

My personal view is its a re vamp,like you Ive never seen one listed as a Mills make, it also doesnt have the feel of a model made by Mills BUT I do know someone in the USA who will know for certain,just post a photo and ill have the answer in a day or so

I can make an award card but I would much rather have an original metal one for it, it's a brilliant machine and would like to finish it off nice with new original one

I guess of course you know it was mine and as per the thread below bought from Sphock.

You were lucky it appeared at Coventry at all, as I cleaned and vetoed the machine from the appalling state it was in, I started to fall in love, which is a risk but does not happen most of the time with me.

The machine was bought by the previous owner from Marmatics in Margate in the late '70s, when she lived there, for her kids to play on before moving to Wales. I established that Marmatics probably operated or distribute the machine and the likely company who had done the conversion was Ruffler and Walker or Marmatics using their parts. Throughout you will find their name, e.g. the escalator has been updated using their parts and there are shiny new washer tokens used to hold the electric components in the hood. The top flash may be an original casino flash, but the machine theme and graphics, including award, I would guess were made for U.K. market in the U.K. Electric win feature is a British feature to deal with the gaming limitations of the time.

I spent 3 days cleaning and refreshing the machine including sorting the electrics, but never had time to test the special award. Would love to know if it works. Mechanism was only partially cleaned and the first reel is slow. I like it, or liked it.

Just to add I added two machines add at the bottom are from the US and likely made for Horseshoe Casino, but I do not believe this is related to the U.K. machine. More of a bit of glam for U.K. punters... If it were me I would keep award as is, as I do not get stressed with some wear of originality of the history of a machine, rather than bling look but I guess everyone has a different taste.

It is fully working including the special feature. I will strip and clean the mech to get it running perfect but wanted to sort the electric first before I wasted my time on that.
As you know, I won't leave it as it is and I don't like the black crinkle finish tbh. lol
It will be getting the blinged-up approach and that's why I would like an original award card.

I was well pleased when I seen the electrics were all complete and untampered with.

The original crinkle paint as seem on most hi tops is underneath, in red.

Good luck, suspect you will need to make an award or use an alternative though. I have loads of new old stock ones somewhere, obviously not Horseshoe.
