Ruffler & Walker Win a Bar of Nestlés
Ruffler & Walker Win a Bar of Nestlés
Hi Everybody,
Just wondering if anybody has any drawings etc. of the workings of this machine. I have had one for a while but it came with no artwork. Having to take the machine apart to install it. I have a couple of parts that I am unsure where they fit. They look like strips of metal with a point on one end and a small hole in the other. I did take some pics of it to aid reassembly but missed these.
Thanks in advance, Shaun

Re: Oliver Whales Win a Bar Of Nestles
Hi Shaun
Don't have any drawings but I do have an Oliver Whales Win-a-Kit-Kat which I've had apart a couple of times and I suspect is very similar. Do you have pics of the inside of your machine and the bits left over? If you can post pics on here I'm sure one of us can help.
Brian

Thank you Brian I will take a couple of pics for you. I have a hunch this machine may be made of a few others.
Cheers, Shaun

Re: Oliver Whales Win a Bar Of Nestles
I have a Win a Nestlé as well. Chuck up a photo of the leftover pieces and I’ll see if I can find them on mine.
Re: Oliver Whales Win a Bar Of Nestles
Nestles, that's a Ruffler and Walker machine, not Oliver Whales. Hopefully you have the right artwork as they both made them for Nestles. No idea what those two tin pieces are for?
Re: Ruffler & Walker Win a Bar Of Nestles
Thanks for the info it did come with a red oval ruffler & walker label pinned to left hand corner
I had artwork made for it there are a couple of differences but it's ok.

Thanks very much for pointing me in the right direction with the Nestles mechanism. Already found three issues to solve.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
Re: Ruffler & Walker Win a Bar of Nestlés
These R & F made Corteen mechs were more complicated than the Whales allwins and they also adopted Bryan's neat 'variable pressure' unit on the hammer tensioning to ensure that the punter could not get the same hammer tension every time, the only other manufacturer to do so, although I doubt it would have made much difference in practice but it probably added an extra sales attraction to the arcade owners when buying a machine.
