I understand the individual words but not the sentence, however I am old and although my motions are regular as I move my bowels every morning at 8.00am I don't wake up until gone half eight. So I do sometimes have concentration issues.

Could you explain your problem by including details about the machine of which you speak and perhaps a photo, a bit of history?

Sted, I'm guessing you'd like to see if the jackpot functions and your cryptic query is whether you just have to wait for a lucky win, or is there a way to make it happen on demand? If that's so then there is. With access to the mechanism you just need to start the machine running, then quickly and delicately stop the clockwork motor with a ruler or stick by getting it in the way of the fan blade above the clockwork. Then you can move the wheels into a jackpot or any other setup, hold them with your hand so they don't move and let the clockwork restart.
