Gunther Wulff Double Six
I've started a nuts & bolts strip down on this as it seems to have forgotten what to do..........
........... and just thought I'd check if anyone out there who has one can tell me if the reel braking sequence is the standard 1,2,3 or whether it teases by stopping the dice first then the payout number or some other daft pattern?
As it has a starter on the first reel I suspect it's probably the first to stop, but what happens then?

Re: Gunther Wulff Double Six
If memory serves me right it restarts the first reel - just like a Beromat and only works if you press it before the last reel stops. On the early Wulff bandits the Start button just released the brake on the first reel, allowing it to revolve a bit. Later, on games like the Double Six, there was a spring that gave the reel a second impulse.

Yes I guessed the starter thing was the same as Primus and the others with the starter, but my question is about the braking sequence on the double six.
Is it reels 1,2 and 3 or does it (like a Thos. Bergmann wall machine I once had) brake in the sequence 1,3 & 2.

"Why don't you come up and see me sometime"
Help me yank it out and we'll compare 'em!
Actually, I had two abortive attempts to extract it from a very large pile of assorted junk (er, soon-to-be valuable antiques) and gave up. It's too deep. But if you want to pop over one sunny afternoon (armed with pitchfork and winding gear) I'm sure we can excavate it.
Like yours, it has the English glass but unfortunately the case, including the nice bird's eye maple front has been covered in a nasty white Formica. With its original veneers and the gold dice castings I think it's one of the most attractive Wulff bandits - would look great beside a Beromat. I like the way it doesn't need a chart to list the payouts. You just watch the reels: 2 sixes you've won and the centre reel shows what you've won.

Dave .... I am getting worried about us.
We have just publicly taken 10 posts and a month and a half to answer one question.
It doesn't bode well does it?

Well I've got another one now and it brakes 2 - 1 - 3 so the amount you can win tantalises you first then the reel you respin then the one you have to match it with.PennyMachines wrote:1,2,3 with a respin on 1.
