Apologies after digging through to confirm I did not need the part, I discovered that this was from a machine I had taken apart and needed to rebuild, I can confirm this is the case and is a proper Sega coin entry......so will keep my eye out for the one from the machine in the garden..

As some of you may know, I have taken time out from full time work (personal reasons) but has given me time to wade through 10 years of collecting addiction. This has given me the opportunity to dig out the numerous piles of junk I have bought over the years and projects I started, but never finished. I must have 30 plus machines part stripped and parts all over the place...top of the list recommendation to anyone is never start working in a machine and then starting another before finishing the first

It has been great and I have had success and frustrations and a chance to work on machines people talk about on here I have never touched, so restored a number of Allwins and catcher machines for example. Currently main focus has been Beromats type machines. I have lots, but in German and British format and think I now am pretty knowledgeable of the mechanism, far more complex to work on than your standard bell 3 reeler. I am glad I hoarded large volumes of spares as I have needed them, with the common problems with slides and slide carriers, coin mechanism plates, handle plates and various other parts that disintegrate. I Have also done a complete strip down, not as easy as you think with dozens of split pins and delicate metal parts. Today just rebuilt a Roma mechanism that I part took apart 9 years ago, solid with frozen grease and parts missing....bloody job, but now working.....now have four others to do...

So when people ask for help, genuinely I would love to, but as below showing my summer workshop I can’t find a bloody thing, even my tools disappear

Anyway, back to the grind......

This lot is largely part of dismantled machines I have gathered from various stores, sheds etc to go through.....10 years of hoarding and disorganisation

Big thanks Tf for looking through your pile of gold. So if anyone can help me out on the coin surround for the Sega and also need a few parts for an Aristocrat Kingsway, please give me a shout then I can get two more machines up and going rather than just sitting collecting dust.

Here you go TF, aligator skin wrap. Let me know your thoughts, good or bad. Still looking for the coin entry surround and a couple of bits to finish off, but overall pretty pleased with the finished product. Shame about the cash try - was too far gone to save the chrome so had to spray black.

The black cash tray is a good idea.
I sprayed one silver for the same reason, and it doesn't look half as good as your black one.
