Nostalgic Nine-Cup identified

Post by coppinpr »

Can someone confirm the make, date of this machine, my inexpert guess would be early Oliver Whales "9 cup" but I don't know much about allwins. The hinges don't look right whoever made it.

Paul - I see you contributed to the Nostalgic Allwin thread back in 2013

Does anyone know if Nigel C is still in the field of slot machines?

To be honest I looked at that red one and thought the latest one looked better all round, but, as I said, the hinges worried me. This is why I ask the experts. :o

I have a couple of these.
You could possibly make a half-decent allwin out of one, with a backflash, a pair of hinges and some cabinet skill.
Might be worthwhile, now that the £400 allwin seems to have vanished.
