On occasion I don't notice that I have a new message as the banner is small. In the last two weeks I have had members reply to me also saying that they hadn't noticed a message from me.

Could we have it more prominent or perhaps as I've seen on other forums a separate window opens as you log on to tell you that you have new messages.

Alternatively is Nursey available for private massages?

Sorry, Nursey has her hands full at the moment.

That's how it works here too - a small pop-up window should appear soon as you log on. It's working at my end

I have that flagged in my preferences, but am prepared to admit in public, that my end is defiantly not working no matter what the circumstances.

Anyway not to worry, no point in trying to change the habits of a lifetime.
