Announcements Incorrect

Post by e00c »

Hey :)

Newbie here again! :D

Reading through the "Announce" Section, It seems the topics are ordered wrongly. At the top the date of the post is: Jun 2009... the next one down is: Dec 2004... Then Nov 2010.

Only a little thing! But confused the hell outa me when I was trying to read it lol.

Welcome Newbie! :D

If you look to left hand column in the Announcements forum, you'll see that the first two posts are 'sticky' so that they always remain at the top.

Hey Jerry!

I see that, but it's the 'Topics' - look to the right hand side where it shows the dates. These topics - as far as I'm aware, aren't Stickies?

OK, I meant 'topics' but they're sticky - hence the exclamation marks.

Hi Newbie and welcome.

As Jerry said, the first two topics in Announcements were "stickies" but I've now reclassified them as "announcements" to separate them from the other chronological notices. Maybe this will make it clearer. The three "announcements" are in the wrong order really, but I'm unable to fix that at present.
