PM not working???

The PM section does not appear to be working, all my messages I send to people are sitting in the Outbox!!!!! Surely, they should be in the Sent items folder!!
Tried to contact admin, so maybe Ill post the msg here.
Is there a server problem at the moment.

Hi markymark I think that PM emails stay in your outbox untill they are picked up at the other end ,
try sending me a PM, and when I answer it you will be able to see if it moves from your outbox to the sent folder

I was just sat at the confuser when it came through,
