Pennymachines Home Page
I have the blue stripe down the left side but nothing written in it. The front page is completely different. Is this an anomaly with Windows 8?

Windows 8?
I'm still on Sinclair Spectrum.
Normally we tell people to just clear their cache.
However as you have 8 windows I guess you should also config against DVD as you don't want Digital VD. Have you gone to Java recently?

I could use more cache! I ran out yesterday.
On the topic subject, I, too, experienced the blue panel but, in my case, it occurred when I clicked on the Auction icon at the top of the page. I simply shut down the forum, went back in and never used that icon again.
I see it has disappeared today, so assume it is only active when someone is auctioning something.
PS: I only have Windows 7 (but it is a very mature Windows 7 - only crashes a couple of times a day)

I'm afraid "clear your cache and try again" is all I can suggest for the moment. I think it's a bug in the Flash Player plugin. My impression is that recent versions of the plugin are increasingly unreliable.
I'm working on a replacement for the Flash navigation system which should suit mobile devices which don't support Flash. May be a while though, particularly if this nice weather continues...

Glad to hear I am not going completely mad and their are others having similar problems. Wandered around a few shops in Oxford/Regent St and got the same problem even at the Apple Store.
Badpenny, I used to dream of owning a Spectrum after selling lump of coal could only afford a ZX81.

Hey PM - really appreciate all your time, effort and exes spent keeping this site running smoothly!! I'm sure like the rest of us you'd usually prefer to be working on the never ending pile of machines needing just a touch of oil and a few screws tightening. It's no wonder you've been auctioning off some of the overflow recently.
TO YOU.
TO YOU.
