Re: Auto login
Sorry - I broke it to prove a point.
Thanks for the feedback again - I now know exactly what was causing auto-login to fail.
I had to do this in order to progress with one remaining issue. It will not be apparent at present, but the logout routine still has an issue.
Replying to your PM now Slotalot.

Re: Auto login
Are there problems with the login again?
Last few weeks whenever I leave the site for more than an hour or so, either on my phone or mac, I have to log back in. I know it's not a huge issue but it's so damn annoying lol.

Re: Auto login
Did you log out and in again to test?
What phone OS are you using?
Special - are you also using a Mac?

Re: Auto login
This time it was different, I had to click on login but it skipped my username and password and logged me in.
I'm using android on my phone.

Mine wasn't working for some time, but has been fine for the last couple of weeks. Windows 10.

Re: Auto login
For the past couple or three days whenever I visit the site I'm logged out.
Yet when I click on the "Log In" clicky, it doesn't take me to a different page to do so it just shows my avatar and ID in place, and I'm there.

Every time I leave the site and come back I have to login, I've just come to terms with it now

I get that sometimes too but not always...badpenny wrote:Yet when I click on the "Log In" clicky, it doesn't take me to a different page to do so it just shows my avatar and ID in place, and I'm there.
Bob also emailed recently with similar login issues. I'll give it some attention again when I return from my hols in a couple of weeks, but this is proving a hard nut to crack.
