Hi
I received a few reports this morning about this - members either unable to log in or being logged out. I believe this is caused by teething problems with the new secure (https) protocol and hopefully it's fixed now. Please let me know if it isn't. !PRAY!!

Dutchboy, Alan, I changed the cookie name which would forcibly log out anyone already logged in. Can you try clearing cache and cookies and see if the problem persists?

Another thing - currently, the internal links posted in the forum (to other pages on the forum and site) are going to the old http address, so if you click on one you'll be shown as logged out.

Hmmn... Just out of interest, could you copy and paste the URL of this page as it appears on your iPad?

Unfortunately, because forum settings, server settings, other host variables, together with members' ISPs, devices, browsers and associated settings, individually or in combination can all be implicated, it's a very hard one to work on, especially as I've been unable to replicate it on any of my devices. All I can do is read up on the many trouble shooting attempts by other users of the software and see by trial and error if anything applies.

I've made one change to my settings and will await feedback. Please delete cookies and cache (as usual) before telling me that nothing's changed. !!JUNK!!

Dutchboy - email me your advert and I'll put it up.

I am experiencing a login problem. At first I thought it was fat finger trouble, but I am now being very careful and still experiencing it. On first login I get 'Submitted form is invalid' and am represented with a panel to re-enter my id and password. On the second attempt it always works. Not a huge problem but thought I would report it to see if anyone else has it.

Yes I had same issue for saved passwords......I now get two password options that come up, which suggests to me something changed maybe in an update to the form as my second saved setting works. If you don’t get two options you may need to clear your cache...
