Blocked from public computer

I went to the library today to use their computer with a view to print an item from resources. Having logged on with username and password and entered the resources section it came up with 'you are blocked'etc. I closed down and tried a further two times to no avail. I could however browse the site in general. Advice please.

Was it The Granny Society stopping you from printing nasty gambling thingies on a library pc?

Or are you sure it was Pennymachines site? !PUZZLED!

I've asked Nursey to mention it when she takes Mr P his early evening yoghurt up to him.
It's rhubarb and ginger tonight.

That's a new one on me - I'll have to investigate. !SHERLOCK!
I suspect, as BP suggests, it's an overzealous internet filter designed to frustrate gambling addicts banned from their home computers. If so, maybe one of those nice librarians could whitelist the site.

Thanks, I shall await your investigations before I threaten to put a curse on the nice library ladies if they won't whitelist.

Coming up blank on this one so far. Did the block occur when you clicked on the Resource images? Just wonder if they set a severe limit on download bandwidth.

Yes, the block occurred when on resources images. However I have just returned from another try. When I have used the facility before I have been told to use Google Chrome (there are three choices - Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox). I used Chrome again today and got blocked so I tried Explorer and wasn't blocked so went ahead with the printing of the invoices. This time it printed the preceding text but no images of the invoices, despite there being enough room on the page (hardly seditious literature?) When I queried it with the lovely lady, she said Chrome was the way to do it but now it's Firefox. Sure enough it worked. I now know to ask first in case it's all changed. Thanks and apologies for any head scratching and wasting your investigating time.

Love your haircut, Mr. PM. I see all your friends; where is Nursey?

I've sent her on an assertive-awareness course.
