How do I change my username??

I have gone to "edit profile" and put in my current password but it just says "profile updated" before I get the chance to do anything??
I have tried on both PC and Android phone??

Hi Nigel,
For a number of reasons, only board admin. can change members' usernames.
Why do you wish to change it? What username would you like?

Hi Gameswat (Rory)
I am now clubconsoles as that is my username on another well known US forum.
I use both forums from time to time and my user name now better reflects the type of machines I love to collect (floor standing arcade and bandits).
Quite happy to be called Nigel as well (my old username).
