First Mechanism rebuild
First Mechanism rebuild
Spent the last few Yule Tide days rebuilding a Mills mechanism, 1st attempt and after a few trial and error momens have managed to strip down and clean and rebuild and it stills works. Well actually it did not work well before at all well before hand, mainly due to locking lever stopping too early and the overall slowness of the reels. Kicks well now and stops cleanly. Even stripped down the clock and re-oiled. What better way to spend this time of year. Oh well only another 4 to go. Painting the casing tomorrow....

.................'tis the only way to gain the knowledge! In fact this is how I learned how women work, the exception being that they function better when they're dirty.

I can assure you you're wrong, if I'm not allowed to chase women then I sure as hell won't demean myself to try and catch buses.
