Jubilee Riviera Noughts and Crosses
Exchanged on straight swap this Jubilee Riviera Noughts and Crosses for an old Bally. Nice to get a Riviera with original chrome and not stove enamelled. Came with original locks, lighting and 2 plays for 1 coin mech still in place; so many have had these removed.
So, a nice bargain (bally cost £80) and these noughts and crosses are on sale at powells for £415 without chrome and on one play per coin.
Being the odds are 80% with 2 pulls for one coin, i would imagine it would be rather dull homeplay at one play (40%). I was amused by the massive coin slide stack for forty coin payout (jackpot). Machine will accomodate four jackpots and still leave 10 coins in the tube.
The Bally is going into a working amusement arcade to join another dozen, the arcade is making more money on their old bandits than their modern computer controlled machines...Nice to see them still in use (pagham amusements if you are down in bognor area at some point where you can see the streets wheel em in, and the colorama. Also, a few prize bagatelle boards in there too.
