This company was at the Goodwood Revival; obviously out to snare the rich.

They describe it as......................
Slot Machine from Sega. This is an example of a brand new reproduction model of a classic 1930s - 1960s slot machine.

My friend was up at Goodwood Revival last weekend where a pitch costs £1400 to line the pockets of the Earl of March. Friend told me that the company selling their wares were taking orders left right and centre. I guess the uber rich dont care what things cost. Table top space invaders from £2.5k, you can still pick up for a few hundered quid down here. It made me smile looking in their flyer stating old one arm bandits from £2400 and in their picture was a cr appy bonanza star, domination badge missing, wrong payouts displayed, paint all chipped with a shefra in place. Some people must be fools. I must start advertising my machines up near Goodwood, i might fetch £2k for my Aristocrat. Also on their jukebox section they show an Ami Continental FROM 10k....

Malcymal, I think I'm with you on this one, although clearly there can be a bit of work in restoring a machine properly and I guess if you are in the business of doing so you inevitably have to charge commercially. I imagine that neither you nor I are there intended market!

Flipping heck , you can get a real one for that............ !PUZZLED!

Hi all , hope you OK.... not been able to login for ages but today it let me in woooo wooooooooooo.
Still have my machines plus I got a mid 80s JPM Eachway Shuffle a while ago. Non worker. Changed fuse in power supply and she`s a goer, great machine. Will be moving to the seaside later this month so made sure the new place has room for old slots..... Large conservatory and workshop....... I`ll have it made. Although first project once I move is:
1. Dump furniture, crap, in house,
2. Sort workshop for bikes,
3. Purchase and restore an old juke box to add to collection,
4. Sort house.
