BMCo Digger
BMCo Digger
Here is my first restoration of 2013, a BMCo Digger.
As you can see its missing a few parts, but looks to be in a sound condition. One of my main challanges is to obtain a topflash in oak, can anyone give me dimensions or a template so I can get one made.
If anyone has any images of BMCo Diggers, that will be useful as a reference in my restoration.

edited from Oz to insert the missing bit: "Thanks, that'd be appreciated".alan57 wrote:Here is my first restoration of 2013, a BMCo Digger.

Re: BMCo Digger
Ok missing parts are -
coin chute for a BMCo half penny
Spandrels
Coin entry (brass if made!)
High chromium steel ball bearing not sure of size I think it is half an inch or smaller
BMCo door lock and key- and lock and key for cash door
Topflash in oak as mentioned
Metal coin collection box
If anyone has any of the above they want to sell, or know somewhere where they might be obtained any information greatly accepted -
Many thanks and a Happy New Year to all

Nice looking machine and love the quarter sawn oak front, which only a few machines seem to get the best bits for this effect. Any before pictures ?
Can't help on the missing items, but there are a few BMCo specialists who may ping you the answers who should see this thread...

Hi alan57
Nice machine in a lovely case, looked at that machine myself a few months back when purchasing something from the owner, and it will be well worth bringing back to working condition.
