Best of British Magazine - Bryans

Post by woody »

There is an interesting two page article on the history of the Bryans family and Bryans' machines in the July edition of the Best of British Magazine - pages 38 and 39. Possibly worth a look if you are interested in this topic.

The artcile is by George Bryan OBE

Hope this is of use to someone

Cheers

Drayton Manor

The article is an extract from the new book DRAYTON MANOR which I ordered over the weekend. The book will no doubt be primarilly devoted to the history of Drayton Manor Park, rather than Bryans machines but should nonetheless be an interesting read. I'll let you know when I receive the book. I'll also write a book review in the next issue of Mechanical Memories Magazine.

I received my copy of the new book DRAYTON MANOR on Tuesday.
Haven't had time to read it cover to cover yet, but at £7.75 inc. postage seems very good value. About six pages are dedicated to Bryans machines.
It can be ordered from:
DRAYTON MANOR THEME PARK
FREEPOST BM6426
TAMWORTH
B78 3TW

Make cheques payable to: Drayton Manor Park Ltd.

Hope this is of interest to some of you

Regards
