Ive always had a soft spot for Keno,dont know why the odds are appalling perhaps its just memories of those keno girls in the short fringed Red Indian squaw outfits at that wild west themed casino at the end (in the 70's) of the strip in Vegas,just past circus circus, it had 100 bowling lanes I remember that but cant remember the name of the casino,someone put me out of my misery.

Now here is a real bargain on Ebay, a group of machines listed as "straight from the barn and totally untested" buy it now for a knock down price of $200,000

I think it was the Frontier, just south of Circus Circus. It's been gone a while now and the site redeveloped.

Yes thats it ,it was the Frontier, I always liked it,really nice pool set in trees and grass,and those Keno girls continually walking past. even in the late 70's it was getting quiet and run down.

You may be mis-remembering about the bowling lanes, though. Most casinos had a bowling alley, but the famous 106-lane center was at the Showboat. Incidentally, the owner of the Frontier had a 50% stake in the Showboat so they probably ran a bus between them and they seemed like the same place to visitors.

Harrahs bought the Showboat for the name, immediately sold the casino but not the name, and opened a number of other Showboats in other cities. The original Showboat was renamed Castaways and was foreclosed when it missed a single mortgage payment. Stations bought it from the bank for its licenses and demolished it. The site is still empty. So,incidentally, is the site of the Frontier, which by the end was specializing in different kinds of sport.

I see what you mean by specializing in different kinds of sports.. the photo shows "Bikini bull riding" THAT Id have liked to see
There also seems to be "Dirty girls,mud wrestling "

although both signs leave themselves open to interpretation, the first hints at a bull called "Bikini" or at least wearing one
the second hints that the girls might be dirty BEFORE they start wrestling

I perceive some further clarification is required, and will no doubt be appreciated. These are dirty girls.

Bikini bull riding is a sport for amateurs to perform and onlookers to laugh at, kind of like body karaoke.. Most riders are not as pretty as this one.
