Pinball Scam on Gumtree

Here is a 'too good to be true' Adams Family for sale on Gumtree for £1500, half it's real worth, at least. The text reads like a dream to a pin enthusiast, and the seller claims to be in Manchester. He responds by asking you to contact him on a different email and then sends stunning pictures of said machine. He now claims the machine is in the States and wants £250 to ship it. I declined, so he came up with another ploy, I send him £400 & he will ship the machine on sale or return. Needless to say, the next request will a Western Union request or similar, and that will be the last you ever see of the money.
Another regular scam is the Paypal-Courier-Dispute- Fee Reversal, where the buyer often uses BIN & pays by Paypal, rings to say a 3rd party will collect. Someone knocks on your door, you hand over high value goods, safe in the knowledge you have been paid. Just before the cutoff date to make a claim, the buyer emails to ask when you are going to post the item, and as there is no evidence to prove it has been collected, Paypal refunds the money to the buyer. The seller loses both the high value item and the money. Be warned.
