American, British, French or German? We want to know about it.

Rotomat slot machine

Post by longbobongo »

In years of collecting I've never owned one until a few weeks ago when I was collecting a machine and the guy offered me one at a price I couldn't refuse. I've always looked down on them.

However...... how good are they. So much crammed into one heavy box. The feature button to re-spin the first reel is cool. They're definitely on my list to collect now.

What's that you are saying, Mr PM?

Little Timmy has fallen down the well?

No? Then it must be:

I didn't wish to be so blunt. But I could go further and suggest:

The thing is... many German machines went by the name of Rotomat, from Wulff's mechanical wall bandits onwards.
Just a few examples below:

Rotomat Ariston

Rotomat Monarch

Rotomat Super Joker

Rotomat Super Krone

and the name continues with modern bandits like this Rotomat Saphir:

And then there are These Ones As Well I only need two of them to complete my collection.
One of which has the wooden case in the seventh line down.
