Jubilee Riviera Payout Slides

Post by mozza2016 »

Hello, I have owned a Jubilee Riviera slot machine since 2007. During this time the machine has been very reliable and trouble free until recently, when it stopped paying out. As a novice collector I don't know much about the workings of the machine, however, yesterday I worked out that the payout slide was not fully retracting thereby stopping the payout. My first thought was that one of the springs at the back of the slide was broken, but upon inspection all the springs are intact (Picture attached)

I am interested to ask what other problems could stop the slide fully retracting if not the springs?

Many thanks

Check first for a coin jam within the slide.
Those that hold a lot of coins in one go stand more chance of a sideways drop, especially if the handle has been pulled slowly when played.
