Big Strike German machine

Post by rneccano »

Does anyone have one of these machines? I have one but some of the insides have come apart and I'm not sure how it goes together. I have seen plenty of pictures on the internet but none are that clear.

I've tried but I don't know how to. It's the wall mounted Big Strike bowling machine - a modern allwin type machine.

Ah yes, I'm afraid it's a long time since I looked inside one.

I found these mechanism and operator instruction close-ups, but they appear to be your game... which looks to be in good shape.
What exactly has come adrift?

Goodness, Mr. PM, your vocabulary use is spectacular. You are without peer, except perhaps for the distinguished Badpenny, of course.

The picture I posted was not mine, I found it on the internet. There is a swinging arm between the coin mech and the skittles. This swinging arm is all loose with the pins and clips all come out. That is the main problem I have. When you put a coin in there is a lever on the side that you pull and this swinging arm pulls the skittles back up for the start of a new game. There is a long spring on this arm that is missing on mine that is attached to the top of the cabinet. Also at the bottom there is a small ram and a wheel that is all loose and the clip has also come out. I think this is to do with how many times the ball comes back, about ten and then the game is over.
