another "ugly"
Moved & merged - Site Admin.
Another candidate for the most ugly. What always strikes me with these monsters is why would anyone WANT to play on it let alone why would the builder think they might? This one is a real piece of work, I don't think it has anything good about it at all If I had been Bell Fruit, I wouldn't want my name on it.

Dime Charley
Nothing personal Widget, but I had to move Dime Charley here - Site Admin.
Does anyone have any idea what this is about? Makes no sense to me at all. It's out a horoscope machine.

Re: dime charley
Being used as a instant lottery machine put in your 6d and if your card has one of the winning numbers you take it to the desk to claim your prize Perhaps using the same folded crimped lucky number squares used in fairs.

*Topic merged - Site Admin.
It's been a while since we had a candidate for ugliest slot - this has to be close (now that definitely is a "dagger handle".
(I couldn't find the usual post we put these in Mr P, can you move it for me please) *

"Dime Charley" looks like a repurposed vending machine from a gentleman's lavatory. The Roman looking machine is a plastic toy from the Caesars Palace gift shop.
Bottom of the Slots - the Hall of Shame
Can my Dime Charley come out the bottom of the slots now? lol

We haven't had an ugly slot for some time... then this "Jennings(?)" popped up on ebay... Very Nice , I particularly like the "chain link fence" motif.

Re: The Machine You All love to Hate !!
Cherries on reel 3? Not done! Where are the plums/bells/etc on the award card? Those electronic machines try to simulate the "buzz" of the reels as they stop but the sound comes about 200 milliseconds too late. I remember playing on a Rolatop "recreated" machine about 15 years ago at South Parade Pier, Southsea and I was not impressed. Well Coppinpr, if you take at this link http://www.libertygames.co.uk/store/one ... et-bandit/ you might rub your hands with glee if you reach what they are selling them for.

Re: Bottom of the Slots - The Hall of Shame
I had one of these once... I didn't keep it long. Built like a brick s--t house. Has the uninspiring name of 'Spinning Reels' and a door push plate screwed on the front right, I believe attributed to Tom Boland. A Mills mech. as you might expect. This was the best I could do with it.
