Re: Is this the ugliest allwin ever?
Ye Gods and buckets of blood and fire Andy, what the hell is the story behind that ?
I thought the Jennings with a totally flat stainless sheet metal front
was the pits but that one is really something else.
It borders on being so ugly I nearly want one.

Yes, someone ( ) followed up a lead on another "one of a kind", "rare" "early Australian pokie machine".................and found this monstrosity under a Gum tree.

Re: Bottom of the Slots - The Hall of Shame
I wonder if this is an Aussie conversion like happened to so many machines in the UK. Would be interesting to see what mechanism is used, looks very narrow. Could this be a German mechanism?
Not sure about the pull arm, a bit agricultural.

Re: Bottom of the Slots - The Hall of Shame
Well I'll let TF give his version, but I think I could make a doorstep out of it.
As for its antecedents ..... at first I thought it looked like a mech from a Bell Fruit bandit
Then I realised I hadn't had my lunch.

Hi, Andy.
Well, I really like the floor it is standing on. Is that natural stone?
Cheers,
Al

Re: Bottom of the Slots - The Hall of Shame
You have all missed the point, it's clearly a brilliant idea to save space in arcades by combining a slot machine and a radiator, perhaps advertised as "the hottest machine in town"
Re: Bottom of the Slots - The Hall of Shame
I seem to have a lot of doorstops and far less doors.....
Not a Bell mech me thinks, as I have one in the shed, and looks nought like this... Not Aristo or N&M either... more like traditional US Mills-based, with a few tweaks........

Re: Bottom of the Slots - The Hall of Shame
Fill in the details Andy, is it Mills/Sega based? Why two coin slots? What does the clock do?
I've enhanced them slightly to get rid of some of the noise and sharpen them up a bit.
