Saturnia

Post by treefrog »

Over the last few months I have seen three of these Saturnia bandits, all different and mostly on the continent. This pricey one on eBay has been made for British market with the limited payout and 5 shilling token win.

No idea who made these, whether Saturnia is the make or model. I wonder if they come from the Astor camp, anyone know.....?

Aren't these the Italian made machines we talked about some time ago? I think they are usually marked "Ascot". I had one with a totally ruined case and I still have the mech in the work room and it looks the same in many ways :!?

If you read the starting post, Astor or sometimes labelled Ascot...... that was my initial thought.

Never owned one and have not been in a rush to own one, yet... but who knows?

Not sure this seller is clued up on values, but let's see.

Well, he had a final bid of £500 so I think he did well!
