Searching for something on the Patents page I found GB351399: Improvements in Coin-Freed Delivery Apparatus applied for in 1930 by Charles Knight of 585, Seven Sisters Road, Tottenham, London. I posted a picture of this game to this topic in 2015.

i used to own this machine, it only payed out a single cig, not a packet like the patent suggests
