Happened to notice the below picture of a collector, who probably is on here looking for machines on one of the many selling websites......not seen these machines before. An unusual Allwin style machine called Visuwin and an Art Deco style catcher with similar looking arms to a Payramid. Anyone seen these before and know anything about them, look quite nice......maybe the owner will share ;-)

I know the owner of these but don't think he's a member here. The Payramid-like machine is called 'Sun' and my 'educated' guess as to maker would be Brenner. Unlike the Payramid, there's no jackpot and I think you win one penny for each ball caught, but I don't recall how many balls you get. I mentioned the game previously here: Re: Arcade Photographs

The 'Visuwin' works like a standard (2,2,4,6,4,2,2) 7-win gallery allwin, but is unusual in that it brings the normally hidden channelling and ball stops of the payout mechanism onto the front of the playfield. As the name suggests, it's designed so the ball never disappears from sight. A win is therefore indicated by the position of the ball on the playfield, prompting the player to crank the payout handle and release it ready for the next play. I've no idea who made it.

I am sure some of you saw the Sun machine on eBay this morning and already removed. At least some closer pictures of the game play and this one had a top marque. I wonder if the caster had a bad day as all the letters are all over the place.

Very visual appealing machine and the seller gave a make as Hollingsworth, which is listed in Braithwaites book with the same named machine in 1936.......
Made by Hollingsworth Automatics
London 1936 (I believe)

Good working order,
original sun top flash casting
plays on 1d,
has a jackpot that pays out tokens

No, it looked like it was listed last night and had a first bid early this morning, then a further couple more bids up to £411......while I was looking and grabbed some copies of pictures ebay pulled at exactly this time......I reckon the wording may have done it as I think the use of the word Jackpot gets picked up by their system for review......shame as it was different to see. The seller was from Birmingham as as is often the case in this hobby may already be on this site or known by someone here..
