American, British, French or German? We want to know about it.

They came in a lot. They were not cheap but these Parkers are not cheap, are they?
They're known as very reliable machines so that's in my mind when I make offers.

I am also looking for any ideas about how to keep the veneer on as these have been dry stored and every time you touch them bits flick off.
Thinking of re-varnishing them or has anyone else got an idea?

I can point you in the right direction of someone who can restore these cabinets but that would be expensive.

If you really don't want them, my church would love them for their fete. If you are looking to reap rewards from their sale, then auctioning them off would be a great idea.

Whatever you decide to do, all the best!

I see that Arles, the original poster on this thread, just put his two Parkers allwins in the Pennymachines Auction. They look like an excellent couple of machines - I've placed an opening bid on the Carnival myself.

Jingle has also kindly sent me another picture of his Parkers machines. Let's make this a Parkers allwin catalogue along the lines of the Wonders list.

Did anyone see BBC 2 London region TV tonight: Hidden Houses of Wales by Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen?
He visited a house in Wales called Trevor Hall - it's owned by a relation of the Parker family and the program shows a clip in black and white of the arcade in Rhyl and also some machines owned by the family in their house.

Good catch. Curious that Louise thinks the Bimbo Box was a Parker's machine.

PM you didn't win this at the Tennants Auction in North Yorkshire on Friday !THUMBS! as the £280 price seemed very reasonable.

Yes, I bought the beauty. With Premium (including VAT) it came to £329.35. Now I have to drive about 160 miles to collect, but still a bargain, I think.
