Jennings "Golden Nugget"

Many times we have discussed the ins and outs of the authenticity of Mills "Golden Nugget" machines but I cant remember us ever mentioning the Jennings version. I've been making a large batch of award and top cards for a restorer in Sweden and amongst the list were those for a Jennings GN which made me research them a little as the cards needed building from scratch there being few good photos of the "originals".
Does anyone know the history of these? Did they exist as original Golden nugget machines? I assume they did as "originals" sell for $4.500 at established auction houses in the US. I'm guessing that if they did then a company did the conversion from standard machines supplied to them from the factory. Or did they come from the factory converted?
The Standard chief model does, in my view, not look good in GN guise, although a not so adorned Prospector model looks better, but not as good as the more common Frontier Hotel Prospector. Anyone have any info?
