Across the pond noticed this on US Ebay site, an Imperial Crown bandit, similar in style to a Sega. Anybody know more about history of this unusual bandit??

I've definitely seen that crown trim and the "v" trim before but I can't remember where or find them in my files (yet). Clearly made for the UK market even though the date on the check sheet could be said to be in US format. Interesting that it has a full escalator and a hand filled token jackpot through the coin denominator access hole.

Forget the postage, if you want to spend over £800 on a bandit I can think of many alternative options for you.

There are two threads discussing this machine, below is a flyer for same machine from a Regency Automatic with no mention of Sega....

Funny, cost £275 back in late 60’s, probably similar for what one would sell for now.......that is a lot of money back then, could buy a nice second hand car
