Lovely machine, made by Charles Fey, in San Francisco, but I've tried doing what it says at the top and it doesn't work for me.

Evening Gents.
I have been in touch with the owner/ restorer of this machine.
It was not made by Chas Fey but was possibly revamped by him.
The correct name for this machine is a Superior confection Gold Award Bell from the mid 30s.
Superior Confection made machines in Columbus, Ohio.
SC went to the wall in the late 30s when the owner, Gus Snyder, died of a botched Appendix operation on 24th november 1938 whilst serving a 2 year prison sentence for tax evasion.
He was 52 years old.

FYI - I would pay a king's ransom for one of these machines, they are very rare with estimates of only 1000 being built and are a hybrid of Mills and Watling parts and a very sort after Bandit that will bring in more $$$ than nearly any machine produced in the 30s!!!
