Poinsettia with skill stops

Post by special when lit »

A few pics of a Poinsettia I've just done. Needed a bit of a tune up because the payouts were all wrong and coins were falling straight into the payout cup when you put them in. Also gave it a repaint and got a new award card from Paul Coppin. When I got it, all the linkages for the skill stops were missing. Looking online, I found someone who had remade them and put pics and drawings up, so thought I'd have a go myself. Made them using drills, angle grinders and files. The levers are made from 2mm plate, and the frame bracket from 3mm.

Thanks. I only had a go because I happened to have the steel lying around. Quite pleased with how it turned out, though.
